History
Dorothy Finnegan was an elementary teacher in the Lee Public Schools for 25 years. Since her passing, her familyhas set up a scholarship in her name to be given to a Lee High School graduating senior entering the field of education. For the past 8 years a road race has been held in her honor to raise funds for the scholarship. The Dorothy Finnegan 5k Race for Education is held every year on Memorial Day.
